Psalm 68:9

You, God, sent a plentiful rain. You confirmed your inheritance when it was weary.

7God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness... Selah.
8The earth trembled. The sky also poured down rain at the presence of the God of Sinai— at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9You, God, sent a plentiful rain. You confirmed your inheritance when it was weary.
10Your congregation lived therein. You, God, prepared your goodness for the poor.
11The Lord announced the word. The ones who proclaim it are a great company.
Notice

Plentiful rain meets a weary inheritance, and the song credits God with sustaining what belongs to him when its strength is spent.

Psalm 84:6Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.Rain supplies goodness in both psalms: it strengthens the weary inheritance in Psalm 68 and covers the valley with blessings in Psalm 84.
Deuteronomy 11:14that I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.God gives rain in both passages, sustaining his inheritance in the psalm and providing water for harvests in Deuteronomy.
Ezekiel 34:26I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing. Both passages name God as the source of rain, describing his provision through plentiful rain and showers of blessing.
Psalm 65:9–13You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.Both psalms praise God for supplying water, linking his care with the renewal and provision that water brings.
Psalm 78:24–27He rained down manna on them to eat, and gave them food from the sky. Both passages describe God sending provision from above: plentiful rain in Psalm 68 and manna rained down as food in Psalm 78.
Leviticus 26:4God supplies rain in both texts; Leviticus names the crops and fruit that grow through this provision.
Deuteronomy 11:10–12For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a …Both mention water and land, though Deuteronomy’s supplied verse describes Egypt’s irrigation rather than God sending rain.
1 Kings 8:36then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain …Rain and inheritance connect these texts: the psalm celebrates God’s provision, while Kings asks him to send rain on Israel’s inherited land.
2 Chronicles 6:27then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk, and send rain on …Both texts link rain with God’s inheritance: Chronicles asks for rain on the given land, and the psalm recalls rain already sent.
Psalm 77:16–17The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed. Both psalms address God through water imagery, though Psalm 77 describes waters convulsing and Psalm 68 describes rain sustaining an inheritance.
John 14:28You heard how I told you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ …The link is broad: both speak of God; John concerns Jesus going to the Father, with no mention of rain.
