Psalm 38:22

Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.

20They who give evil for good are also adversaries to me, because I follow what is good.
21Don’t forsake me, LORD. My God, don’t be far from me.
22Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.
Notice

“Hurry” carries the strain of needing help now, while “my salvation” names the Lord as the hope of someone still in distress.

Encouragement

The psalm ends with a plea, without describing relief. Even here, the speaker addresses the Lord as “my salvation”; urgency has not erased his trust.
